I love this picture: Kraft and BB

It was great but was about an hour too long. A handful of the roasters could have been deleted.
At least one third of the show was promos for future Netflix Roasts and for Netflix events like with Dana White. Bert and Bob or whatever their names were terrible. I felt bad for them. Still have a third to go. I'm not a prude and I swear as much as anyone but apparently there is a segment of the population that cannot say more than two words without a sexual reference.

Bill was great. Julian and Gronk were good. I loved what Bill did with Danny Amendola and Alex Gurrero. Tom and Bill have previously buried their hatchets. I think it might be a long time before Bill does the same for Bob. Nicky and Sam Jay were good even though really vulgar.

Bull clearly wanted nothing to do with Kraft. Always find it interesting how badly fans want to see the positive in everything about their team.
Drew Bledsoe was on Colin Cowerds show today and said that Kraft and Bill met before hand for a while, just the 2 of them.

L-R: Drew Bledsoe … Randy Moss … Matt Light … Julian Edelman… Rob Gronkowski … Nate Solder … Lonie Paxton … Dan Koppen … Rodney Harrison

L-R: Randy Moss … Matt Light … top of Solder's head ... Danny Amendola ... TB12 ... Willie McGinest ... Dan Koppen ... Rodney Harrison ...

People love drama and make it like there’s all this bad blood between them. Glad they came together and had a fun night, these guys will have a lifelong bond.
I think the Dynasty series showed Kraft has issues with Bill.

Bruce Arena built the New England Revolution up.
Jonathan Kraft ran them back to the cellar like he did before Arena.

Just throwing that in ... he is a snake.

This was raunchy as hell I hope kids didn't watch this but having said that, I love watching these people poking fun at each other. men, women, blacks, whites, jews, pol-arks, gays, trannies, rich, not-so rich etc. Love the ethnic jokes flying around. FREE SPEECH! Somehow it is a bonding experience, we can get along and laugh at our failings and differences. nobody is above criticism. Get rid of the damn cancel culture which sucks immensely --the church of the perpetually offended and politically correct. I'd rather this way than the snowflake road we've been going down. By the way, Bledsoe and Bellichick do pretty good stand-up!

I believed Steven Belichick when he said his Dad “doesn’t dwell.” That doesn’t mean BB won’t have mixed feelings about Brady and The Scatback but I simply don’t think he will be making inflammatory comments about them for the simple reason that doing so won’t do BB any actual good. I don’t see him writing a “tell all” book to settle scores. That’s sort of in line with what Ernie Adams said about taking things to the grave.

So I think this event starts them all on to the next steps in their relationships, cordial and respectful, and with a small bit of warmth. I hope so anyway.

More interesting is fans who badly want to see only the negative things about their team. I think they called masochists… imagine wasting your time looking for negatives, and rooting for. Sleepless nights for sure.

Nah - you are confusing objectivity with negativity.

Thunder is still trying to blame BB for Bradys departure.

It was Thunders call. He could have put his foot down and refused to let Brady leave.

Agreed. I just have a question that I'd like to ask.. why do some posters feel Bill got screwed? With the parting of ways?

Well.. looks like he made the call on Bill this time...

I think you know my feelings on BB. I dont think he got screwed he had a tough couple years and earned the hot seat because of everything we know and have debated plenty.

However I still felt he was/would have been the best choice to try and rebuild with and that his good years outweighed the last few and that he deserved one more year to turn it around and one more QB to try and do it with.

My thinking is we know what he can do when he has a great QB so let's not let the shell of Cam or Mac cloud things and give him one more QB to try and get it right with. I think it's pretty easy to see the line of thinking that Bill and Drake are better than Mayo and Drake.

And thats no knock on Mayo I'm excited to see what he does.

I get not wanting to risk losing Mayo and I get the concerns about how he handled Mac and not wanting him to do it with pick 3. But I just can't get past that we know if Drake turns out to be good that Bill is Bill where as now even if Drake works out we could be held back by the coach.

All that to say as an ardent Bill guy he didn't get screwed despite wanting him still.

Everything after his firing is another story altogether Kraft might have screwed him in a couple of different ways on that front but let's not start that debate.

I believe we tend to see eye to on alot of topics including this one. I definitely see your points.

Here's what I'll say. We all collectively agree Bill hands down the best to ever do it, and I'm happy he's in the media now and getting his flowers as he should. What hurt Bill was when TB12 left, it seemingly was left up to stidham to play. When he showed in camp that he wasn't the answer it was the scramble for cam.. and you know what 7-9 in a pandemic looking back at it wasn't terrible.

Then Mac came.. hope was restored. We were actually the # 1 seed at one point during that season, before it all came crashing down. The 2022 off season is where it all went wrong for Bill, Mac and ownership.

Not to rehash as we all lived it. Bill is a highly intelligent guy. I believe he knew the writing was on the wall once the " collaboration " was mentioned. Due to the drafting. So here we are in 2024.. Bill left a hell of a defense and a practice squad offense. Which in turn was a 4-13 team. If ownership tried to withhold $$ then I'd say yeah he was screwed.. but honestly I believe Bill was likely ready to move on as well.
