The Browns definitely paid a steep price for Quinn, giving up their #1 next year.

actually, they save a ton of money. they are going to pay a guy #22 money, when he was probably worth #8 money (or, they would have had to pay a lot more to a top pick next year)

I'm happy for Romeo and all but I wish we had been the ones to pull the trigger. Imagine having Cleveland's 2nd this year and 1st next year! Oh well, now we have to pray that the 49ers suck but they look like a team that could improve to 8-8 this year.

And the Browns ,the way they landed Thomas and Quinn.Nice play.

last year too..Wimbley was being talked as possible DROY..he played very well at OLB

D'Qwell Jackson had over 90 tackles i believe

Its a no brainder for him to trade back into Round 1 and get Quinn. If he didn't, he would not be the coach next year to use that pick anyway.

And they have Winslow and Braylon Edwards. I like the direction they are going. Unlike most people, I think Quinn is gonna be a stud, maybe even better than Jamrcus Russell. Though i could be wrong, just a feeling.

Phil Savage > Romeo. I doubt Rac had the final say in any of this. His team definitely made out well with Thomas, though, I'm still not sold on Quinn. If you value a guy that high, you've gotta do what you've gotta do, I suppose.

I agree they have done a good job, especiialy at getting name players, though I also believe they payed a steep price for Quinn. But if he works out it will be well worth it.

Also, they have sunk a lot of money into some guys who may not deserve it, so let's see if they can finally turn this franchise around.

Crappy teams always look like they have great drafts because they get the top picks of each round and get to pick all the NMAE players. I remember a couple of years ago the raiders got gallery and grove and everyone was saying how they would have a great oline, how did that work out.

I'm happy for Romeo - two quality players that make his team A LOT better... but let's face it - I'll give Savage credit for pulling the trigger but they got lucky too
