Hmmm...."Say hello to my little Fred!" :D Maybe? Probably as good a time as any to get him back into game speed before the playoffs. I'd be pretty happy if he was ready to give it a shot this game. :singing:

Ha..." Say hello to my little Fred ! "...You're the best. Love it !

It seems that Fred has been seen at practice, so it's looking good.

With Brady's injuries, I hope they run all day. Rule by committee can be a good thing.

I'm slightly amused how so much more of the national media is preoccupied with a team that missed the playoffs last year than they are with the last two Super Bowl winners in their daily 'what's wrong with/how to fix this team' stories - especially considering the Pats have a better record than the Steelers or Giants, and have a dramatically larger chance of making the playoffs than either of those teams do.

Agreed! I think of it as rather a compliment (intentional or, more likely, not!) to the Pats. I will admit that if I were a fan of another team say the Vikes, Saints or Colts (perish the thought! ):attention: I'd probably be at least a tad irritated. Steelers fans must be a peculiar blend of annoyed and relieved, though.

I had a dog that would "fake" that he wasn't interested in the food in his bowl, and when some other s-u-c-k-a dog (either his younger, dumber "brother" or a visiting dog) went over and tried to eat it, he would go postal. That was how he established that he was "top dog." Worked like a charm. :)

I have a dog that fakes being Randy Moss. If I throw him a ball and its too hard to find he just quits.

See, that dog is faking being a dog. If you throw a dog a ball and it's too hard to find, he never gives up. My afore-mentioned top dog almost drowned once because a tennis ball we threw to him ended up in a shallow, but fast moving river, and he would not stop trying to get it. He followed that damn ball for about a half a mile, slipping, sliding and swimming as we screamed at him to come back (we had two more tennis balls in the can!). Wes Welker is actually more of a dog than the person who is not supposed to be mentioned in this thread.

I hope they use the person-not-mentioned as a decoy (he'll still have to run fast, fake routes) in Buffalo and open the passing game up more for Ben Watson or Chris Baker (remember them?).

true, but maybe we'd have to get breed specific. What you describe sounds like a retriever. We could say Wes Welker is a good wide-retriever;)
