I want state clearly THAT THIS IS A HYPOTHETICAL ASKED OF FANS. THIS IS NOT BASED ON ANY "SOURCES."

If Revis states he wants to see where Rex Ryan goes before signing a renegotiated deal. Would you be OK with the Patriots signing Rex Ryan as an overpaid DBs coach? I mean really over paid, at a HC level but still less than BB. This is without a guarantee that this would get Revis at a discount, just opening the possibility.

Oh, there is no cap on coach spending.

If this means all the co-ordinators get a raise to stay paid more than him, that can, theoretically be done.

I don't think the Pats would accept Ryan for free, let alone being overpaid

Plus, he is better known for his D-Line and Blitzes. Not sure how well he'd fare as a DB coach

Players should have no say in coaching or staffing personnel. So no, I would not support keeping Revis if it comes with the disclaimer that the Patriots must sign Rex Ryan.

BB will never listen to a player about coaching changes. This isn't the NBA where players demand coaches. HE would be gone if he did this..not even an offer to him.

But this will never happen so we are signing him

Weird ass question, tbh.

You might as well say that Revis is stipulating that he will resign only if he gets to bang Gisele while Tom is forced to watch in the corner while dressed like a baby. I mean, that's only a little more outlandish.

If Rex mattered that much to Revis then Revis would be wearing green and white right now...

Ding ding ding. If Revis wanted to play for Wrecks he would already be a green bean.

If Revis said he was waiting for Rex Ryan I would immediately withdraw all contract offers and release him with an injury designation because obviously he would have a serious head injury.

Minitron said it ever so eloquently in his epic Reddit AMA:

After tonight, Rex Ryan won't be employed for quite some time.

I don't know about Revis but if I could bang Gisele just once, I would happily stand in the corner dressed like a baby for the rest of my life.
