The Pats will likely get a cap credit in 2024 for part or all of Hoyer’s $1.4 Patriot salary guarantee. Cutting him now makes sense outside of the Bill being vindictive narrative. With Mac and Zappe, Hoyer wasn’t making the 53 without an injury, so cut him early, and, maybe, someone would sign him, and pay that salary instead of you.
