K/P/LS -- Very good. No change.

QB -- Great, if not beyond great.

TE -- Ditto.

WR -- Fine. A great fit to Brady.

RB -- Looks like we have a competent "shotgun"-style RB. Between-the-tackles is a concern, however, especially for depth.

OT -- We'll see. The talent and investment are certainly there.

Interior OL -- 4 young guys who combined to not get Brady killed, plus Stork in IR/DTR. Could be worse.

DTs -- We'll see. The more penetrating guys (Easley, Jones) are glassy. The more sandypants guys seem fine.

Edge defenders -- Ouch. Hopefully last night was a one-early-game fiasco.

Pure LBs -- Fine, I'm sure. Tons of talent. I'll worry if they a couple of games w/ dubious results and furthermore get picked apart in pass coverage.

DBs -- We'll see. At least they can tackle RBs. We just got altogether too much confirmation of that.

I think the pats didn't get the memo that deangelo williams was down 15lbs.......he surprised them outside

QB - Brady was sharp. 19 consecutive completions at one point. He was in the zone.

RB - Deion Lewis was a bit of a revelation, looking every bit of Kevin Faulk, Shane Vereen and Danny Woodhead. I was prepared to like the kid, and he gave me plenty of reason to. But, at the end of the game, when they were running to kill the clock, and on the goal line when Bolden couldn't get in, it seemed clear that we really needed Blount in those situations.

WR - as expected. We would be even more satisfied if Brady hadn't overthrown a couple of long balls.

TE - Gronk of course, but Chandler is living to his promise. I'm psyched.

OT - meh. Solder with some bad penalties.

OG,OC - I am incredibly happy to report, I have no cause for complaint. Two rookies (one undrafted) and Kline held up incredibly well in pass protection, and did just fine thanks in run support.

DL - a bit heartbroken to see Easly limping off the field. The unit gave up too many rushing yards, and it would have been even worse if not for some pretty heady LB play

DE - Sheard was terrific I thought, but how they kept giving up the edge to Williams is a mystery.

LB - Collins and Hightower are stars.

CB - the unit I was most worried about kept their poise and even made a few plays. BB was not crazy to put his trust into Butler, after all.

S - Harmon and McCourty were flying around the field. Did Chung even get any snaps? He was like the invisible man

Overall, the offense executed, Gronk + Chandler combo looks dangerous, and the D looked playoff caliber headlined by young stud LBs.

Nancy Negative Analysis

QB- TB blew it on the DA long pass. Other than that...typical GoAT.
RB- Bolden was not good. Too hesitant. Lewis was good. Bad fumble. Shoulda caught the swing pass. Need Blount.
OL- For rookies, 1st game was outstanding. Run blocking was below average. Need Stork and Shaq fulltime. Blount w/ power line would be great.
WR: Need LaFell.
TE: Best in the NFL. Williams saw some good action. Chandler did OK. Hooman played a little.

DT: Losing Easley could be awful. Run blocking was awful. Interior rush was awful
DE: Did they realize that they need to set the edge? Good grief. Jabaal played well. No rush.
LB: Mayo was a bit MIA. Collins wasn't too active. HT was a force.
CB: Below average. Strap survived. Brown did ok. Fletcher...shaky.
SS: Chung still sucks in coverage. Awful PI in the end zone.
FS: Played well. Not sure but I think they screwed up on over the top help on a couple of plays.
