Also, Marcell is listed as 6'4". Brace is 6'3" AND plays DE. You're height argument doesn't hold water.

When Dareus measures in at under 6-3, it will. Brace also has 20 extra pounds on Dareus, was not a top-10 pick like Dareus will be, and is still not an ideal (Warren/Seymour) DE like you are expecting Dareus to be.

I have no direct information but get the impression that Brace is not the sharpest knife. I think we will see a significant improvement in Brace in his 3rd year.

Vollmer can move to Left Tackle. Steve Maneri was a TE at Temple and never played OL in college - he has been on the practice squad all year learning the OT position - no idea how good he is but he might be the new Right Tackle after a year of training.

We will have DL injuries again next year so we need a guy and a guy at OG. But I think we need a center.

The first four picks are DL, OLB, Center and Guard, but you can get some good Guards in the third round so maybe it is WR in the second round again. Maybe they think Price is good enough after a year of training - I have no idea.

Yeah, he's a good dark horse for a starting OL position sometime. The Pats obviously like something about him.
