How much does the offense change?

Florida's "Spread" is nothing like New England's. The Pats offense owes more to Texas Tech than the Gators.

Actually, the Pats have co-opted a lot from Urban Meyer. McDaniels and Belichick have spent several offseasons down in Florida exchanging ideas with Meyer. He has been quoted that the Pats were very interested in his ideas of the spread offense. The usage of the shotgun so much even on run downs really comes from Meyer.

What may change are some of the formations and rhythm of play calling, what will not change is that this O will be in the top 5 next year and maybe #1 again.
