How much does the lack of a good tight end matter to this year's team?

It's only a problem because the coordinator refuses to incorporate tight ends into the passing game, and insists on passing 75% of the time with a spread shotgun formation.
Hang on. In other threads the 3rd wide receiver talent isn't a problem, now you are saying it is a problem because of the coordinator?

People have just spent the past 3 days going back and fourth with you on this issue, now you agree with us that it's problematic.

Where in the world did you get that idea? Either you seriously have brain damage issues, or you're just a deliberate troll.

You keep trying to jam a square peg into a round hole (forcing players into the scheme) insisting the problem is lack of receiver depth.

If we have two decent tight ends, and a crappy 3rd/4th receiver, then stop trying to repeatedly force the spread shotgun formation. MNF showed that 75% of all our pass attempts are out of this formation and it's ridiculous.

There's only 1 troll here maverick, and he starts multiple threads on the same issue and throws personal insults at everyone who disproves his point of view along the way.
