It shows that while Brady was in the league his teams on average ranked around 7th in the league in points allowed per game, a worthless stat as I already explained. It’s also interesting you used the singular word “battle” and not “season average”. If you still can’t figure out why PPG is worthless start there.

If you’re going to hate on DVOA at least understand what it is and why it’s a thing.

Brady had better defenses, better special teams, better offensive lines and rushing attacks than his peers more consistently for two decades.

BB hired two failed coaches who were in over their heads to run his offense develop his second year QB and hopefully bounce back from a playoff disaster. The results were predictable. Was that doing a good job?

If a team is down big, they’re going to throw a lot.. so looking at their box score it looks like they’re putting up great passing stats. But are they really doing that or is that just a product of their situation and the defense backing off a bit? That’s what DVOA tries to accommodate that conventional stats can’t.

Points, turnovers, third down and goal line percentages…. football isn’t complicated.

If a running back is a 4th down or goal line specialist and he is very good at that job, does he still suck because his yardage and yards per carry won’t be high? Someone who looks at box scores will think so. DVOA solves that problem.

Points per game shows competence over a full season. You suggesting a team can give up among the fewest points in the entire NFL and simultaneously be “bad” is peak stupidity.
