Hopefully Tarell Brown Is Next

Well Malcolm Butler was an undrafted FA, so BB didn't actually 'hit on him' in the draft.
I think our last top notch CB we got via draft is McCourty in 2010, and he's playing safety now.

I"m still not sold on Logan Ryan. Wouldn't mind if we tried to draft a premier talent for the position. We need a true #2, and it would be good to have insurance in case Butler gets too expensive.

Ryan had a great year
Patrick Peterson is not walking thru that door.
People down on Ryan do you forget the Earthwind Moreland Randall Gay Duane Starks all took reps as a number 2.
Makes me shiver with fear.

I guess that after the draft, depending how it goes, we might sign several more veteran FA's and Brown will be considered and medically evaluated.

Do we really need to blow another Rd 1/2 pick on a DB? AGAIN?!?!
It would be great to see Jordan Richards get some more reps this season. He didn't really do anything last season, but I've got an irrationally good feeling.

I"m still not sold on Logan Ryan.
Even assuming a solid season which would then suggest a consistent pattern, it's highly unlikely that we'll pay what he'd fetch in FA (Assuming another good year).

To take it one step further, I find it rather unlikely that Belichick would pay both Butler and Ryan, unless they could agree on something in the 6-7m dollar range now. The price it would take for Butler would likely be another full million higher at 7-8m.
