They could if they were allowed to abandon their other responsisibities and gamble for the INT. Remember when Ellis Hobbs missed the INT and the guy ran for a TD? It was a bad play on his part. If he caught it and ran it in for a TD would it have been a good play? Or is gambling like that a bad idea. I think it is a bad idea.
Law had a pretty good ratio of big plays vs. bad plays. I'd venture to guess that he wasn't burned more than our CB were but he made more big plays, both when he was with us and when he was with the Jets.

So what's the big news?

The same news we read on ESPN.COM about two hours before the big radio braodcast. Walker's agent says he is talking to the Patriots.

Like Brady's INT for a TD? He'd be the #1 here.

Damn straight Pilgrim

If Law comes back the NE secondary gains instant credibility. Wilson and Samuel are better players with someone like Law on the field. Hobbs is too raw and you really dont know what you have in Gay until hes put in a situation like last season when Harrison went down. But, Hobbs and Gay would fine rotating with Law and Samuel.

Assuming he makes the club, I think Warfield was brought here to play Safety and not CB. Harrison wont be ready for the start of the season. It hasnt even been 12 months since the injury and he tore 3 ligaments.

Starting Secondary.... Law Warfield Wilson Samuel

I'd take Law's game-smarts and experience any day, even if he's lost a step. Losing brains like Harrison's hurt us very badly and having another guy who understands the system inside-out is invaluable, especially if we draft for the defensive side of the ball this weekend.
