Ha, man I'd kill to have Luck right about now. This team has actually done pretty decently since the late 90s w/o a QB. Especially ten years with not even average QBs yet still going deep in the playoffs a couple times.

I just want a mid-tier QB damn it!
No you don't, believe me An average quarterback is about the worst thing a franchise can have because he takes up cap space and blocks the team from innovating on offense as well as being a reason not to take risks to upgrade the position

An average quarterback isn't a solution it's INOCULATION against solutions

I saw this earlier and had to go to sleep for a while...lol

I like how it said he never considered the jets...the man is wise

He's a ****.

A lot of people taking this post real personally...coincidentally are many of the same who love to go around spouting "SNOWFLAKE SNOWFLAKE TRIGGEREDDDD".

Suppose you're right, but it's real easy to say when TB12 is your QB and has been for like 20 years.

So let's get this straight: likely better at WR, likely better at DL, likely better at RB, if Butler plays out his contract here (a distinct possibility) likely better at CB, same OL and OL coach, Gronk is the TE, High is the 1 ton anchor in the middle of the D, TB is our QB, BB is our coach. LOL....I'm guessing an over/under of 9 wins?

If we go 19-0 I am gonna mail him a box of dogshit.

Ahhh I may do it anyway.

Don't pick on the senile like that. He may think it's fudge and eat it.

The saddest thing about this graphic is that the #1 paid MLB may never play another down and if he does, he may be risking permanent brain damage.

So the Patriots didn't pay Hightower the reported 4-year, $43.5 million deal. It's almost $10 million less. $35.5 million over 4 years (19 million still guaranteed)

Actually, it's not 19 million guaranteed. It's 17 million

Well, this is good news for the team and allows them to spend more on other players. Stinks for HT personally of course, but that's still a lot of money, and who knows how much he voluntarily chose to leave on the table next to the cupcakes from the Jets. I'm surprised his market was so low.

man he NEP know how to negotiate

Wow. That cap space just doesn't want to come down.. Much lower 2017 Hightower cap hit than expected. With Danny's 5-6.5 M its still virtually around 32M

I hit the useful button.... Then I remembered it's Volin, and there's a 75% chance Miguel will respond to him saying his number is wrong!
