Patriots linebacker Dont'a Hightower played through the Super Bowl mostly with one arm.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday that with the Super Bowl over the linebacker plans to have labrum surgery on his shoulder, according to a person informed of the player's situation. The linebacker was on the injury report since Week 14 with a shoulder injury.

Christ, I know that this is not as important as comparing QB's of different era's. But his guy is a stud and I'm happy the Patriots jumped the Steelers to get him in the draft.

Wish him a full recovery and hope he comes back strong next year.
