What a massive massive blow. Oh man. That’s really really sucks from a football standpoint.

McCourty next...Season ovah.

I don't blame Hightower.

There's only so much football left in that body. Why waste it on this season in this situation?

**** man. Wish him well. This is a big loss.

The first of many big names i assume.

Good for him. Expecting your first child in all this crap isn’t fun. We had our first April 9th about a week before the peak of this thing in Connecticut and it wasn’t easy.

League might see an exodus this week.

I am waiting for a “face of the league” type guy to opt out ala Aaron Rodgers or JJ Watt. Might not end up being anyone of that magnitude due to the amount of money they would lose but it’s hard to imagine some huge name isn’t going to opt out at some point.

I predict more than a few RB scrubs getting 100 yard games against us

Well we have about $23 millIon in cap space now with Hightower and Cannon out.

Signing Clowney will certainly help ease the loss....

The big name we were waiting for has opted out....Brandon Bolden.

This definitely puts a damper on the anticipation of this season... Don't blame him though, this whole situation just...sucks.

There isn’t going to be a season sadly.

I am ok with all our high priced players with huge base salaries opting out. I think this is going to a lost season for everyone anyway. Amass as much cap space you can and push it to next year where the cap is contracting.

The last veteran, high caliber linebacker we had on defense Opts out :(

I dont blame him... this COVID stuff wouldnt normally give me a spook, but the only thing that was giving me anxiety and making me nervous was my 15 month old son
