Help with a Chad Jackson question

Re: Help with a Chad jackson question,

Kid, get yourself another hobby because if Chad is a bust, I'm afraid you're going to take your own life. You don't seem to have any other interest besides Chad. You're either his mother or a stalker.

...condescending attitude...where?

Re: Help with a Chad jackson question,

I believe 10-15 catches out of CJ will be a successful season considering the time he missed and the receivers around him.
I think it's unrealistic barring injury (to others) as Gaffney has 12 catches in 9 games and there's only 7 left. Gaffney wasn't hurt and played all camp. I will be surprised if Jackson makes more than 5 catches but he could be a gameday active assuming he plays on special teams.

FirstAG,

When you say "facts" I think that you mean "supposition" or "conjecture".

something that is supposed; assumption; hypothesis.

or

1. the formation or expression of an opinion or theory without sufficient evidence for proof.
2. an opinion or theory so formed or expressed; guess; speculation.

The only "fact" is that Jackson had a disappointing first year. It is baseless conjecture to automatically conclude that all future years will look the same. As an example, please review this post from another thread:

Games / Rec / Yrds / YPC / Long / TD

15 / 10 / 154 / 15.4 / 33 / 0
12 / 28 / 329 / 11.8 / 28 / 1
5 / 2 / 40 / 20.0 / 33 / 0
13 / 22 / 370 / 16.8 / 63 / 1
12 / 13 / 152 / 11.7 / 35 / 3
5 / 3 / 31 / 10.3 / 12 / 1
10 / 2 / 30 / 15.0 / 21 / 0
12 / 21 / 228 / 10.9 / 23 / 0
16 / 15 / 246 / 16.4 / 45 / 0
15 / 23 / 319 / 13.9 / 30 / 1
13 / 27 / 345 / 12.8 / 43 / 0
16 / 6 / 152 / 25.3 / 43 / 1

Pop Quiz!

Match the above first year stat line to the following WRs:

Reggie Wayne
Steve Smith
T.J. Whosyourmomma
Chad Johnson
Chad Jackson
Hines Ward
Javon Walker
Santana Moss
Rod Smith
Joe Horn
Donald Driver
Laverneous Coles

What do all of these guys have in common? They are either clearly among the best WRs on the game today, or are stars that are on the backside of their careers (except Jackson, of course). What is not debatable is that if Jackson has a career like the worst of these guys, everyone in NE would be very satisfied. It amazes me just how many people are willing to pass judgement on Jackson's career based on his first season. Sure there are plenty of examples of guys that started out great from the start (Holt, Moss, Rice - but also Glenn and Michael Clayton) and there are tons of guys who never took off after crappy first years, but the majority of very good to great WRs had inauspicious beginnings to their careers.

Can we please stop with the "Jackson is a bust" nonsense?

Every single WR listed would be considered a "bust" based on your criteria.

Why do you give a damn. You don't worry why I follow him I might be his mother or a stalker. If you don't like it or like me go screw yourself. I have never made a negative post on this board just trying to learn the rules about a player being on the pup, IR and active.

Re: Help with a Chad jackson question,

I will say this though, your digs and your awkwardly worded display is rendered completely hollow when you can't spell simple words like "preferred"and don't even ask me what "debilitatingly" means. Is that "deliberately" or something? Spend less time trying to sound smart and more time in school.

Ahem...

Who is Chad Jackson??

Physically, unparalled..talent that can't taught. But he was an immature bigshot in his own mind when he got here.Didn't little study and basically was useless in the sophisticated Patriots offense. They tried with the kid but no one could break through...like all great recievers he was arrogant because he was gifted. The decision to rid themselves of him was made in the spring...then the Pats signed Moss...and suddenly Jackson amped up his workouts and began working hard...and he started to hit the books with a vengeance..and he began answering the questions BB asks the whole team when it comes to situational football...and he showed he was bright and able to grasp the offensive philosophy. Why? It was randy Moss, who Jackson idolizes, who approached him and told him straight up..."this is not how it's done" and it was mOss who spent countless hours in the preseason working with him, teaching, making him work. Why does Brady love Moss??? Brady told the kid the same thing, but he didn't connect. Moss did.And Jackson has SHOWN he's matured and has graded out at the top in his grasp of the offense. He's Matured...a CERTAIN WASTE..A GONER...AND now HE'S ACTIVATED.

YOU GUYS MAKE THREAD ALL THE TIME ABOUT jACKSON RAISING ALL THESE QUESTIONS

go back to the combine and check his measurables... Chad Jackson has the physical tools to be a GAME BREAKER.and he's been working hard. Another plus for bringing in Mr cancer Moss. You guys watch
