HDTV: Females Prefer Peyton Manning to Tom Brady

Not this female.

Manning is foul.

I don't mean to sound sexist or offensive, but could it be because women are attracted to the fact that Peyton Manning is on every TV commercial and that sportswriters worship him?

Professionaly, Brady is more low-key, all he does is win, which is underappreciated if you aren't a hardcore football fan.

One small disclaimer left out was:

This survey was taken from PM's Mom, PM's wife, and women in Indy over 40 with less than 10 teeth

Please. Every woman I know (including my wife) drools over Brady and openly mocks Manning, even those who aren't really football fans. I've never heard any woman say that Manning is even attractive...not one.

More importantly, why does this bother us?

Isn't this a classic?

How many times have we seen women pick complete losers over decent blokes? It's a law, apparently!

Actually, what they said was (emphases mine):

Despite Brady's reputation as an American sex symbol [ . . . ], Manning was chosen as the quarterback American women would "most like to see up close in HDTV" in a survey conducted by Sony.

The females were given a choice of Manning, Brady, Atlanta's Michael Vick, Green Bay's Brett Favre and Tennessee's Vince Young. Manning won with 21 percent of the vote.

For all we know, they could be looking to gawk at Peyton's fivehead.

If I were a Pats o-lineman, I would think this was the funniest thing since the baby-goat-fondling pictures. Expect to see this dis to Tommy's chick-magnet reputation posted on his locker all week.
