Happy Birthday to the GOAT

Meh. I wouldn't consider it "bad blood" as much as being tired of each other. The situation is more complicated for Brady, though. Tom is at a rarified level where most coaches can't offer much and just irritate him, but the fact is he still NEEDS coaching. It just has to be the right guy and BB is one of the very few capable of that. Another would have been Sean Payton, which is why the supposed Miami scenario made sense.

Then there is Bruce Arians who #12 seems to have gotten fired, guess there was "bad blood" there also.. or maybe #12 has been in the league so long and is the GOAT, that he no longer accepts "coaching" as much as he used to.. who will the the de facto OC in Tampa Leftwich or Brady??

Don't see Bowles as a guy who wants a lot of conflict in asserting his or Leftwich's authority, will be interesting to see how this all plays out..

It will be co-head coaches: Bowles will run the defense and Leftwich the offense with heavy input from Brady. Bowles will have final veto power on matters requiring one person to make a decision but will mostly defer to Leftwich regarding offense.

Nice to see a thread about BB, the GOAT, not descending into a cesspool of bashing him about something, anything will do.

Thankful we have had him on our side for this period of time..

GOAT working hard this offseason...

By the time you reach 70, you give zero ficks about who does or does not wish you a happy birthday.

I agree, with the caveat we are talking about men's birthdays. Realistically for most guys that kind of self centered BS should go out the window no later than turning 30 or upon the commencement of parenting, whichever comes first.

If, however, we are talking about women's birthdays things are substantially more...tricky. As with anything pertaining to the fairer sex there is no standard rule to apply and the degree of difficulty in determining how best to proceed varies wildly. It's not unlike trying to decipher what "nothing" means. You pay your dues, you take your chances. As always, God help your ignorant azz should you get it wrong.
