I'd loved to know what defines an "open" revolt. Because if "open" means being verbally upfront, honest and transparent "The Touchdown Twins", i..e. Brady and Gronkowski, have been anything but.

Well, they've been "anything but" with the media. That's partly why the media resorts to making **** up. And it's also why we really have no idea whether or not they've been "verbally upfront, honest and transparent" behind closed doors.
