Today I saw something that I didnt see since Moss left the team, and its Brady forcing it to one player. I mean obviously Gronk is a BEAST, and caught a lot of passes in the fire, in traffic, over the shoulder... But what worries me most is that...He is getting mossed by Brady, forcing some throws, not seeing the others WRs ...

Branch is the indicator that Brady is sharing or focused is one player

Off the top of my head, I'd guess Brady was 7/8 throwing to Gronk today. There was only one bad pass that was intercepted, a rare occasion where Brady just got his route jumped and didn't see it.

But will give you this: Gronk looks almost as important to the offense as Moss used to.

He made a poor throw/decision to Gronk, really wasn't forcing it to him.....on that 4th & 4 he didn't look at anyone but Welker, we got the 1st down though.

Welker had more receptions than Gronk had targets. I also don't recall either player having it forced to them, they were both open most of the day. I never said "Oh ****...." on a play to either one.

edit: apparently one pick was to gronk? Must not have noticed that during the game. Point still stands, Gronk is big enough to be open almost all the time, he is a much bigger target than Moss and he fights for the ball in the air if he has to, something Moss stopped doing.

I'm not worried about the amount of looks Gronk or Welker got today, what worries me is the fact that nobody else was worth looking at during the game.

Gronk is a freak of nature. I'd use him a lot too. The one bad throw just had to be a foot or 2 higher and he was catching his third TD for the day. Having Hernandez in there will make it less predictable if it pleases you.

But only one pick was too him. Brady forces more to Welker. He is like Moss in one regard, we got to throw it higher. Let him go up for it. He throws that end zone pass a little higher and that's a TD not an INT.

Doesn't help that Hernandez was out today

Exactly what I was going to say. Hernandez was out today and Ocho still isn't there. Gronk and Hernandez was his main targets today. I didn't even see Branch make a catch all game.

Exactly; he tried looking at Ocho, how'd that work out.

I miss Corey Dillon.

That's Brady's fault. From my recollection, there were plenty of times Brady could have dumped off to wide open RB's for easy yards rather than "needing" to go downfield. It's not like he had all day to throw... again.

The OL really do need to have some hats taken off to them. They've been brilliant in pass protection through 3 games.

When Brady has time, he looks downfield first, as he should. And the only player on our team today who can catch downfield was Gronkowski - thus all the throws to him. Ochocinco disappointed big time.

Where was Branch today? For all the talk about Ochocinco (which he deserves for the drop, and maybe the bad route), I barely noticed Branch.
