So why was the game delayed? For tv reasons? They could've continued the game with the lighting they had. Every team has played in some type of foul weather that reduces visibility, ie; fog, rain snow etc. Why not continue the game as scheduled?

I wasn't paying close attention but I swear that's all CBS did was talk through the blackout, and why is the score board important to the players on the field?

I will admit I forgot about the clock, but is the scoreboard clock the official game clock? So, if it's snowing or raining like there's no tomorrow, and the scoreboard is not visible to the game managers, do they ever stop the game? I'm not looking for smart-assed remarks here. I questioned this during the game and want to hear others sensible thoughts on it.
