More than 2/3s of his catches go for a first down or touchdown.

He is the big play threat. Has been for 5 years now.

Gronk=Moss

This graph is visual evidence of what Bill Belichick was talking about when he referenced the health of Gronkowski as the difference between winning and losing in the playoffs/Super Bowl.

That's all well and good, but Bradley Roby has been "Amped Up" by Gronk's comments, so I'll be shocked if he even catches a ball on Sunday.

I saw this amazing stat.

And then there's his ability to make plays after the catch. The numbers bear this out; with an average of 7.84 yards after the reception, he leads all receivers and tight ends with at least 400 total receiving yards this season.

More YAC than ANY NFL WR!!! My mind is blown.

Slightly off topic but tangential, but for the second amazing stat of the day. Patrick Chung has given up less than 100 yards receiving to TEs all year.

Gronk v Chung is, firstly a great name for a Manga movie, but secondly must be a battle of the immovable object versus the unstoppable force in practice. Patrick Chung must be one of the most underrated defensive players in the NFL right now.

That is THE story of NFL post-seasons this decade.

Also never went longer than 13 receptions in-between touchdowns. Pretty incredible. Glad he avoided disaster in Week 12, he'll obviously be one of the big keys in determining whether or not this team wins two more games this season

He had 5 40+ yard plays. That's up there with the top wide receivers. A couple of tight ends had 2 40+ yard plays. Most had 1 or none including Olsen who only had 1.
