Google Glass for QBs?

I can well imagine the size of the server array that every frikkin' team will need if an interactive system is brought online. heck, even if it's just a system whereby you can select specific player cams to see what they are seeing, etc.

Add in gol post cams, overhead cams, etc, and several million viewers all trying to access it at the same time and there's an area ripe for disaster.

It's bad enough the way this forum slows down or even shuts down on some game days. Can you imagine the system requirements for several million viewers to join in? They'll need an NSA sized structure to accommodate the servers and power generators.

And to fund it, prices will, of course, simply HAVE to be adjusted upward.

Mark of the beast indeed. I wonder if any numerologists can tell us if Goodell translates to 666.......

Netflix does this, every day all day, on a much larger scale. For $8 a month. It can be done.

at what point does "mark of the beast" begin to become apparent in this age of humanity?

look, I read this more than two decades ago when it first came out...

The Holographic Universe explores the metaphysical implications that underline quantum mechanics and suggests that the universe is a hologram . After examining the work of physicist David Bohm and neurophysiologist Karl Pribram, each of whom independently arrived at holographic theories or models of the universe, the book argues that a holographic model could possibly explain supersymmetry and also various paranormal and anomalous phenomena and is the basis for mystical experience.

since that time we, as the organized bits of spastic protoplasm that we are, have survived one catastrophic, cataclysmic event after another. Who can forget the hysteria generated by the quatrains of Nostradamus, post September 11th?...and the rippling, seething. molten fear brought forth by the Mayan Calendar predictions?...and then the asteroids....one just missed the earth a few months back that would have instant ice aged us into the frozen tundra had it struck...so far, we've dodged these bullets better than Rex Ryan dodged the bulls of Pamplona...but suppose, just suppose, this Google Glass idea takes root in our societies worldwide....the allegorical "mark of the beast" come to life...I shudder to think of the dire implications....

When you have to sign a certain agreement (your soul) for the technology...

“The technology allows players to don the glasses and record and save video.”

I wonder what Belichick is thinking??

no wonder that guys' name is fumblenuts. what's he think bb is thinking. the same thing george halas, paul brown, vince lombardi and jimmy johnson would be thinking. the same thing every other football coach before or since would be thinking. how can i make this an advantage for my team. at least i hope he is. fumblenuts....what a dope.

After upon reading your thread title my initial response was WTF is this BS........
If tech was far enough, I'm sure teams wouldn't mind to hook those up on QBs like Sanchize with a Heads-up display that shows "OPEN GUY HERE" ICONS.
Nice Gumby. You got me thinking.

What if the Jets and Mark Sanchez officially endorsed Google Glass. Google could develop a simple Google Glass APP (JETS BUTT DETECTOR) that would detect a 300+ lb lineman's BUTT in the QB's field of view and visually recommend evasive action.

Something like this:
