Good read on McGowan

I'm sure much of the roster decisions will be based in part on the effectiveness of their play on special teams. I don't know if it would come down a roster spot going to either McGowan or Tank Williams. It seems like they may be competing for different roles; McGowan is listed as 5-11, 207 while Tank is listed as 6-2, 223. By comparison Rodney Harrison is 6-1, 220. Although they're both listed as safetys it would just seem to me that they would be utilized in different ways, in different sub packages.

I think competition is the key. People here like falling in love with certain players.

I don't really care who makes the roster. I'm just really interested in the volume of bodies and potential they bring... BB will sort it all out. No freebies, players fighting for jobs, team benefits...

Really think TC could be more interesting than usual - especially on D.

It would be nice to see a former Black Bear on the roster, but only if he can "bring it".

I did read that article in the Portland paper which for some unexplained reason, I keep buying.
