Defensive Passer Rating: 9th
Yards Per Rush Allowed: 24th (not good)
Sacks: 6th
# Passed Defensed: 15th

I know Cannizaro isn't perfect, but it's hard to argue with his thoughts on the Patriots.

Those numbers aren't too bad when you consider the circumstances. I bet there's a big split from the first half of the season to the second.

People are underrating this defense because it was pretty underwhelming from 2010-2012, and there was a 6-7 game stretch this season where the defense reverted to something resembling that form. But I'd say the defense is playing like the 10-15th ranking that the above stats indicate.

If the defense had stayed healthy this year, it would have been a major story of the season. Perhaps next year.

There are so many amazing things about this team that it's hard to remember them all.

The best record in the AFCE for 13 straight seasons is another one.

Pretty astounding!!
