You have a point but remember this, the best defense in the NFL was almost smoked last week by a prolific offense down to the last 35 seconds of the SB. If the second string AZ safety doesn't slip and fall, we might be talking about loading up with more "O" talent and a AZ win.

Similarities in our 18-0 season? AZ had a weak run game but was a top tier passing offense. The defense was not their strong point.

In #42, we had the lead with 35 seconds to go and our "O" pulled us to 18-0. It was not our defense that got us there. You would have to say that the Giants were the better defense. One miracle catch later and they were the Champions. Their defense was solid but it was an offensive play that won them the game.

Balenced teams win championships. All of you want to load up on one side of the ball. The offence is the best offence in the league already, if we get the defence back to top five like it was in 07, we will be the best team ever agiian. Have to agree. One fluke play was the difference. I agree that balance is better too, but someone said we had enough offense! You can't have enough of either side though.

If you haven't been looking the Pats Defense ALREADY HAS gotten young.

Here are the players thirty or under. Every single Defensive lineman. Seymour, Wilfork, Warren, Wright, LeKevin and Jarvis Green.

Then add Mayo, Guyton, Woods, Crabel, Redd, Ruud, and Alexander at LB.

Then add Hobbs, Wheatley, Willhite, Richardson and Meriwether, Sanders and Tank at DB.

Total 6 Defensive linemen; 7 Linebackers; and 7 DBS all thirty, or under. That is 20 positions on the 25 position Defense. Of those 20, 15 have been starters.

Is that enough "younger" for you??
