I think the problem lies with just about everyone but Ghost there.
I just want to make sure I can still call him an ******* next time he misses a kick?

(Dude is the most solid K in the NFL since we drafted him...which was 13 years ago. The amount of **** he gets is unreal)

Outside of that weird short kickoff he was pretty much flawless. Idk about catching Gary Anderson but he should get past Jason Hanson (#4) in terms of points scored all time.

He has missed big kicks in the biggest game of the year three years in a row though.

They all suck...who’s good anymore? Ghost has been as solid as any, has been taking/making kicks that matter every day since he was drafted. Lots of kickers with some seasons of better averages/numbers, none of whom have to perform in the weekly or yearly blender that Ghost does. None. Who’s more solid? Justin Tucker? He’s really good. He’s been in 6 playoff games. Ghost has been in 25. Of course there’s been more examples where he’s failed. I still don’t get who people would rather have. Tom Brady has failed to win the Super Bowl 11 times. Scrub! Anyway, I get the criticism, but this guy followed Vinatieri and has done everhning except have “that” kick. It’s a fair criticism, though he was denied the opportunity in 42.

But God help the next guy. Because there’s basically no chance in hell he will be of AV/SG level.

AV is 19 points away from beating the current #1, and that's in 23 seasons.

At his current pace, an NFL record 8.78 PPG, Gostkowski would do it in less than 20.

Ghost is the 3rd best kicker of all time. The 2 guys ahead of him have not played anywhere near the seasons Ghost has

It is rare when an athlete follows a legend and the play doesn't suffer. I know its not quite Montana - Young (or even close to that), but we shouldn't minimize the difficulty of (1) the job (2) following an AV...

Someone on Twitter compared it to going from Favre to Rodgers. . . .

He made that 50yd kick look like a routine XP. From week to week there are alot of messy Kicking situations accross various teams Im glad we are not one of them. This is a spot a team can save some money but IMO its just not worth it.
