I'm not totally out on him, but... I don't think I'd ever come close to being willing to give up the draft capital that Pitt would likely want for him. I'd probably max out at like a 4th.
This seems like the correct take

That's three. A multi pass. Not to be confused with ...

As much as I can't stand the Steelers, they've always been good at drafting and developing WRs. The Patriots have been the opposite. Pickens is a headcase. If you asked me this 10 years ago I would say bring him on, and let the environment of champions set him straight. Now? This would be a match made in hell.

A 6th round pick would be the most I would give up for this guy, on a salary that would make him easy to cut.

He is no Randy Moss.

(also, too: When the Pats picked up Moss they had an EXTREMELY strong core of players to make sure he kept the right attitude.. Now? Not so much.)
No, he is not. He is not nearly as talented and also does not have Moss' football intellect. Bill has always raved about Moss' football brain and credits him for teaching him a lot about the WR position. If you listen to a single interview of Pickens, it is obvious that his intellect is not one of his strengths.

I’d swap firsts or give our second.

I would give Cole Strange 500 million. $$$ . He’s like, like, like John Hannah, Dwight Stephenson, and Anthony Munoz all rolled into one player. He could even play all 3 positions at the same time, and that would let them play 2 more wide receivers.

No Thanks
I want players that I can root for
I would want to castrate him by week 6

Cut from the same mold as Diggs and Brown. Taking on guys like these are a distraction and not worth the headache as far as I am concerned. When things are good they are good when things aren't good....well..........

We need someone who will grow with the team or help the team stabilize while other players grow . Kupp, Godwin or Higgins are the only ones that fit the bill. Just build the trenches for this year and let's see how the wide receivers grow.

The free agency and draft is strong on defense . Shore that up while adding an LT and RB on offense . Those are the only needs I see for a year spent on redemption to respectability. Next year swing for the shiny toys.

Any videos of Jalynn Polk running in slow motion on the beach yet?
Like we saw out of Harry.
I will never forget a video posted of Harry in camp his rookie year going through a drill and coming out of his break so unbelievable slow.

Yes we know about his attitude problems at Pitt. But could Vrabel rescue him and turn him into a franchise No1?

I don't know if he can be a franchise #1 but seeing how he is a FA next year and has some baggage i'd trade a 4th round pick for him.

Lotta upside with that kid.
