Buffalo was ranked 3 and 10 in different rankings. Many of the others included;
Denver 6-15, Detroit 2-11.
Indiots 2-9, LA Rams 3-10, Pats 9-16, Jets 25-32.
Jaguars 9-17, Phi 4-12
SF 3-16 and Seattle 3-13. How can they be so far off

Clearly Goodell rigged things to help Brady and Kraft.

With the benefit of hindsight, it should be clear to all that had Goodell not fabricated DeflateGate to give him an excuse to rest Brady for four games, they never would have made it to the Super Bowl.

Heck - it was only because of that early season rest that Brady had the energy to come back when he was down 28-3.

Or at least that's what people tell me when I ask them how Goodell "fixed" things to help the Patriots.

In general, we are way too negative on all our drafts. You want 3 starters each year, and since 2020, we've been averaging that cumulatively.

And even the 2 bad drafts in that stretch yielded Drake Maye and Marcus Jones.

2023 was a good draft. Christian Gonzalez, Kayshon Boutte, Demario Douglas and Bryce Baringer for the Patriots, Jake Andrews starting in Houston, Chad Ryland a Pro Bowler in Arizona, and though Keion White and Marte Mapu don't fit with our defense anymore, they are good players, miscast in this defense of smaller edge players, and smaller safeties. 8 players.

2020 and 2021 were decent or mediocre. Not bad.

I don't despise. Give them their due. Management constructed a good team with good coaches and an all-time great QB along with an all-time great TE and WR. Sound familiar? Don't knock it.
