Great Blue North Draft Report

They have us trading up to the Lions for A. Smith Then they have us taking Solder BallardMurray and Salas, picking up a 3rd rounder in 2012.

It is good that GBN is so bad at mocks.

So we we essentially send a 2012 2nd rounder for solder?
Not sure why they would give up a 2nd round draft pick next year when we have as many this year as we do. They could just use one of the 3 rounders this year instead. But I wouldn't want to touch Solder at 17. :bricks:

Salas is my WR binky. The rest...meh

to trade up 15 picks...we give up a 3rd rounder and 2012 second rounder. not likely.

we gather picks from subsequent drafts, we dont give them away

So basically GBN has the Pats drafting Aldon Smith and Christian Ballard - in exchange for two 2012 picks - but passing on some tandem of Wilkerson, Heyward, Reed, Smith, Paea, Sheard or Sherrod; plus giving up the #60 pick?

I know some people are fixated on 'Belichick stockpiles picks for the future' topic of conversations, but this just seems ridiculous. I have a great deal of respect for much of what GBN does, but this scenario just doesn't make any sense to me.

I can see BB trading up, but I can't see him giving up so much to gain so little.
