Jones did break into the backfield a couple of times, but Manuel outlegged him and others. The Bills backfield is pretty quick, so contain on them is the way to go. We don't have a quick front seven by any means.

The problem with Ridley is that we've had these issues all three years that he's been a pro. The guy is fumble prone. Some RB's have a rebirth and reverse the trend, most who go down this path do not.

At the end of the day, it's a division win, and the Bills have been a tough out just about every year, because we catch them at least once before reality smacks them back down to the bottom of the standings.

2. I thought your comment on the OL was overly harsh. First that was a good DL. Darius and KWilliams are as good a DT combination as the the Pats are going to see this season.

Yeah. I was gonna mention this same thing. One of the strengths of the Bills is it's D-line, and I think that yesterday, they played as advertised. I was impressed with Solder (although, it sure seems as if Mario has lost a step too), but Wendell had a rough day.

Lot's to work on, but all and all, not a bad first outing. Problems on offense were mostly related to turnovers and rookie mistakes.

Sorry, I was just giving a shout out to Dan Dierdork and his butchering of players names.

Speaking of the Dork, could he be more stupid and biased today? When Arrington stripped the ball from Goodwin while the guy was clearly standing, Dierdork tried to argue that he held the ball long enough that his knee had hit the ground before he lost the ball. He almost openly rooted for the Bills.

God, I cannot stand him. Says the dumbest, most anti-Pats things.
