This might end up being a positive if we find a live body over there who can go deep opposite Randy. Gaffney was OK in possession, but down the field he was a non-factor.
I liked Gaffney......... for a 5 game stretch in 06. He was okay in 07 but not really a factor. Last year, he had a few drops that HURT big. I'm okay with his leaving. I do wish him well though.
Don't be. When is the last time you saw a bad long snap in an NFL game that wasn't made by James Harrison? I agree, a competent one is important, but I'm confident the Pats will find one. Heck, they dug up some guy who was HS teaching one of the SB seasons.
Surprised Gaffney left. Though no way the Pats were giving him 4-years. Guess this adds WR to the list of needs.
Would love to see Michael Clayton come on board ...
Brian Kinchen was the retired TE/longsnapper, for you trivia buffs (I had to look it up and figured I'd share).
Not all his fault, but Gaffney disappointed a bit this year. I'd love to see them go after a mid-round rookie with some speed to stretch the field opposite Moss.
