some say it was shula's fault. he liked being in control and Morrall would run the plays shula wanted run. Unitas on the other hand wanted to call his own plays. The two fought over that from what I remember. That's why Shula waited too long to put Unitas in the game.

The Colts also went 13-1 and had a dominating defense. Can't take anything away from what the Jets accomplishments in that one, HUGE underdogs and a defining moment in NFL history. They may have beat a backup QB, but that Colts team destroyed the NFL's best that year. To downplay it is to show ignorance and lack of football knowledge.

The Jets win over the Colts was legit. Namath riding that one victory to a HOF induction despite 50% career completions and a 173-220 TD-INT ratio is absurd though. Has to be the most undeserving HOF member in any professional sport.

I have the full game on my iPhone (they sell it for $2.99 on iTunes). I have the 3 America's Games on my iPhone, the 3 SB highlight films on my iphone. Just incredible.

I've watched the game several times while taking the train home from work, usually with a big smile on my face. I have the iPhone 6+, so nice big screen to watch it on.

I have the 6+ too. I need to buy the game on iTunes. I have a lot of podcasts saved on my phone from the day after. I get some sick joy out of listening to pat haters have to talk about the pats victory. Ha.

I hate the Jets as much as anyone, I've lived amongst the enemy for many years. But you can't just arbitrarily throw out comments about things you don't know about, just because you weren't alive, and not expect to be called out on it.

"lack of football knowledge" is a derogatory comment to throw around. I can deal with "ignorant" since I didn't exactly watch super bowl 3 like you apparently did. But "lack of football knowledge" essentially means "you are stupid when it comes to football in general." you took it a step too far and I'm calling you out on it. If you don't agree with me, say so in a respectful manner like Pat the Pats fan did. You on the other hand just jumped all over me defending the JETS of all things.
