Rules: You only have 18 points to “spend.” Select a line-up, by choosing only 1 player from each position group.

QB- GOAT (5)
RB- Corey Dillon (4)
WR1- Deion Branch (2)
WR2- Gino Cappelletti (1)
TE- GOATKOWSKI (5)
Flex- Woodhead (1)

Who ya got???

Brady - 5
Lewis - 1
Woodhead - 1
Gronk - 5
Troy Brown - 5
Cooks - 1

Brady-5
Gronk-5
Edelman-3
Cooks-1
Woodhead-1
Lewis-1

I would also like to carryover the remaining 2 points into next years Pats pick ‘em cap.

This was a cake walk. Why does Bill the GM have such a hard time?

Brady
Branch
Edelman
Lewis
Gronk
Woodhead

Brady - 5
Cooks -1
Amendola - 2
Lewis - 1
Gronk - 5
White - 4

Voila..Piece of Cake

Grogan - 3 - (And, yes, if asked he CAN rush the passer!)
Moss - 5
Gino - 1
Dillon - 4
Francis - 3
Givens - 2

Two of the players are GOATS and a third is an almost GOAT. You grab these guys and then add the leftovers.

GOAT-5
Cooks-1
Edelman-3
Cunningham-3
Gronk-5
Woodhead-1

We've got some history now. Being the old man, I really wanted to go with Grogan and Stanley Morgan. Hard to go against the GOAT tho. I took 12 and 87, then did the math to get the rest. Tough situation, really, having to take Jules because math.

qb brady 5
wr1 glenn 3
wr2 edelman 3
hb1 dion lewis 1
te gronkowski 5
f woodhead 1

Total 18

Greatest QB of all time with arguably greatest TE of all time. Very good receivers, deep threat in glenn, all time reliable slot receiver in Edelman. Lewis and Woodhead can make plays in the passing game, kind of average at the running game, but they are not the factor who drive the offense.

Brady is the guy who raises the level of everyone else around him. Give him these other guys in their prime, and he would be torching the league at 07 levels. He had less weapons than this and beat the strong defenses of Tennessee and Jacksonville. He shredded the Eagles defense for 33 points, it was only his own defense failure to get stops, that denied the Goat from winning his 6th Superbowl title.

The All GOAT Team:
Brady - 5
Moss - 5
Gronk - 5
Cappelletti - 1
Lewis - 1
Woodhead - 1

Having 3 GOATs at their respective positions makes this a fairly obvious choice

The Make It Interesting Team:
Jimmy - 2
Moss - 5
Edelman - 3
Lewis - 1
Gronk - 5
Givens - 2

This offense would be extremely explosive... you have Jimmy who is a very good passer but also has athleticism and can make plays with his legs.

You have Moss as your vertical deep threat

Edelman as your slot guy

Givens as your bigger, more physical possession receiver

Lewis as your 3DRB

Gronk to do his gronk thing

Maybe not my preference overall, but I’ll go:

Brady (5)
Martin (5)
Moss(5)
Capp (1)
Watson (1)
Woodhead (1)

Just because a Brady-Martin-Moss trio sounds insane.

Also: while I love the guy, paying 5 for Faulk when you could get Woodhead for 1 is pretty bad value.

Faulk was better than Woodhead as a receiver (which is saying something) and far better as a blocker. About equal as a runner. Problem is Faulk costs you as much as Brady, Gronk, or Moss, and the margin is the same as Cassel to Brady (!) or Watson to Gronk.
