The cap is more than a third higher now ($102 million) that it was in 2003 ($75 million). As the cap has increased over the years, the number of impact players acquired by the Pats post 6/1 has decreased over the years to none in the past 2 years. Why expect a reversal of that trend???

Trotter was available but we didn't chose to go after him only to have TJ quit on the eve of Training camp... As I recall he was the not so bright and shiny toy that Snyyder had, and he wanted new ones. How many will he dump this year, now that the infatuation is gone? He has lots of shiny new toys to play with now.
