Sounds like he's big enough to replace both of them.

Maybe Crumpler will take on Matt Cooke and give him the REAL beatdown he deserves......

I think that this depends on role of tight ends in the offense.

Do you expect that one the second rounders can immediately step in and start? Or are you suggested trading for starting tight end?

I sincerely hope that Crumpler is the replacement for Baker rather than for Watson.

I'm suggesting that a player of Crumpler's age that's increased his girth is probably not the best idea for a starting TE in a season where that TE should be catching more balls than in the recent past, due to the absence of Welker. Whether they find a receiving TE in the draft, free agency or trade is irrelevant to me. That it gets done is what matters.

Regarding the draft, as long as the first two picks are DE and LB (preferably OLB), I'm going to probably be pretty content.
