The Pro Football Hall of Fame's selection process for the Class of 2017 has officially begun. The 48-person committee compiled an initial list of 94 modern-era nominees from which these 26 semi-finalists were selected. This list will be further reduced to the 15 finalists, who will be unveiled in January.

Anyone feel Ty Law is worthy of HoF honors?

I do. He may not be in Deion Sanders' class (close, though), but his numbers (considering how many fewer games he played) are Darrell Green worthy. He was an all-around corner - he could shut down one side and tackle.

Couldn't do it. Once I cut out the Rams, Colts, Jets, Steelers, Broncos, LT and other haters there weren't enough left to submit my vote.
i went backwards, and voted for the least hated

somehow, i did have to vote for the big cry baby Warner to complete my vote though, the TD to Ty Law in Superbowl XXXVI is how i convinced myself

I think HoF voting is a sham but that's besides the point.

If a corporate, whiney, jelous league wonk like Bill Polian can get in, then a multi All-Pro, multi Super Bowl champion like Ty most certainly deserves to be in.

Ty has the stats, the cred, the hardware and the jewelry. No brainer

Interesting way to look at it.

I swear to Buddha this is true, I dreamt of that pick six the night before the game.

And I never swear.

Voted for the second time, this time gave all those that were below Law a vote,

Wanted to make sure i didnt help someone knock Law out of the balloting

In that case I will try again.

Well then Ty can PayPal me some dinero, I have a family to feed.
hopefully your family is not as big as ty's, where $5/6 million salary was not enough to feed them in 05

That was annoying. I just voted for the people with the fewest numbers in order to increase Ty's chances.

I voted for Ty Law but told the pollsters I voted for LaDainian Tomlinson. #Upset
