wow. Thank you. Man is everybody at the bar going to think I'm a DB, and I don't mean defensive back. But seriously thank you.

Like the write up. Some one needs to drop this off in the "illegal tactics" thread on the Falcons forum. So tired of morons who think they understand football, hear "rub" or "pick" route mentioned during a game when NE uses it and assumes only NE use those routes and on top of it don't know the difference between the two.

Had a long debate with a Cowboys fan last year on their board. After showing him screenshots of them using a rub or a pick on 12 of their 25 pass attempts he still was adamant they were not the same as NE's and Dallas doesn't use them.

The national reaction to Defamegate taught me a lot about the critical thinking ability, or lack thereof, among the general populace. I've kinda given up hope since then...their idiocy is their problem.

Another tidbit for the geniuses that continue to call the decision to throw from the 1 yard line dumb, as if Pete made the decision in a vacuum. Here are some possible reasons why Pete went the way he did....besides the fact that we had just stuffed him the play before.

Among 39 running backs with at least 10 carries from the 1-yard line in the past five seasons (including playoffs), Lynch’s touchdown percentage (45 percent) ranks 30th. Also consider that this season, Lynch scored a touchdown on 1-of-5 rushes from the 1-yard line.
