Just messing around with the draft value chart (Draft Countdown - Trade Value Chart) to see what the current trade-up options are (using all combinations of first day picks):

Trade #23 + #34 + #47 + #58 -> between #3 and #4 pick in draft (blowing our wad)
23 + 34 + 47 -> between #4 and #5 (intriguing, perhaps not realistic)
23 + 47 + 58 -> #6
23 + 34 + 58 -> #7
34 + 47 + 58 -> #10 (kind of tempting)
23 + 34 -> #10
23 + 47 -> #12 (also tempting)
23 + 58 -> #15
34 + 47 -> #16 (I may like this one the best)
34 + 58 -> #19
47 + 58 -> #24 (actually closer to 23, but that'd be a bit schizophrenic!)

I'm not sure how well the trade value chart represents things, but the Patriots may certainly have an option to get up into the top 5-10 picks if they want to trade quality for quantity (and, of course, find a trading partner seeking the opposite).

Thinking about all these draft picks does soften the blow of the Vrabel/Cassel trade a bit.

Thanks for the value chart. God I hope it doesn't come to something like this. I like Curry but not that much lol. Team would be a laughing stock if he busted and Pioli would be a hero

Thanks for the chart and the scenarios. I am not sure who I'd trade up for in this draft though.

If the Patriots view Eugene Monroe or Andre Smith as a franchise LT and the player they want slides to 15 or so maybe they pull the trigger?

If the Patriots like BJ Raji a lot and he's there at 15 or so, that could be an option.

The OLB's, the CB's, and Louis Delmas should all be available at 23.

We need multiple playmakers in the back 8, why are we trading up? Makes no sense.
