Faulk is Patriots' Mr. Dependable

Spot on. Faulk is a solid, quiet professional who can be depended upon to get those crucial yards when we really, really, need them.

He always gets the job done when called upon and to put it simple there isn't anyone else I would rather have playing on third.

Durability? Faulk silenced those doubts by playing at least 15 games in eight of his 11 seasons, including each of the past four campaigns.

In franchise history, no one has accumulated more all-purpose yards or return yards than Faulk, and no Pats running back has more career receptions (418). No Patriot has amassed more than 3,000 rushing yards and 3,000 receiving yards except Faulk, and only five Patriots have played more games for New England. He's New England's Mr. Do-It-All.

I wish there was a way to predict the durability of a player. That is unbelievable for an RB. Maybe he's a Highlander or a member of the Fantastic Four.

Faulk is the Troy Brown clone of the RB corps...both players never get/got much praise but both had/have careers to fondly remember them for.

It is actually amazing. When he comes onto the field, and into the lineup on 3rd down, everyone in the ballpark, and everyone on the opposing defense knows he is gonna get the ball, and yet, many more times often than not, he accomplishes what has to be done. Even that damned 2 yard pass against the Colts that we got screwed on. He had the first down.

Yes. yes he did. :rocker:

Preseason game 2020 ...

"Kevin faulk up the middle for a 6 yard gain"

Yes old Mr. Dependable Kevin Faulk out of LSU now in his 22nd year for the Patriots ... head coach Tedy Bruschi raves about Faulk.
