But I’d really like to see the OL do some nasty run blocking

Hell, even when Vinatieri’s kick went through in Super Bowl 36, it took a second or so to realize we won, no flags on the play. I had watched 26 years of things going against us.

I’m just hoping the Pats show fight, heart and competitiveness, and no injuries.

The focus for fans will be the several potential #6 WR's. Who looks good against WAS 2nd and 3rd team will matter a lot to fans.

The focus of the staff will be on the OL where critical choices need to be made.

I always get excited for the first preseason game and then about 5 minutes in I remember why I don't enjoy watching preseason games and wish the regular season would get here quicker.

I enjoy the preseason games. Gives you a chance to look at our rookies, and to see if our backups are as good as the opponent's backups. Late in Belichick’s reign, So many times they weren’t.

Don't have much time this time of year but here are some thoughts flying back last evening. Hopefully my daughter will post this for youall on Monday.
1. We never ever game plan for first two pre-season games and in all honesty why would we show anyone anything before the season starts. The other teams need to worry about us because we really do not care about the results and final score. Why do youall think we went for 2 the previous game?? Other than hitting other teams players and evaluating rookies, younger players, or position switches these games...

Still a mystery to this day who that was and whether they were a legit "insider" or a fan with just too much free time. If legit there was talk that it could have been anyone from a low level staffer to BB himself. I think it's possible it was someone with first hand access to someone connected to the organization but there's no way BB would have approved of this.
