Okay, I have given up on Maroney as our future. That is no reason to take an $800K cap hit to dump him and keep Jarvis Green when we will likely get a 5th for him. Why don't you think Maroney is worth having as our 5th RB and kick returner for this year and next at vet minimum pay?

If the Patriots draft Don Brown, it would mean that they have

given up on Maroney. Trade Maroney and get the best value you can

in either 2009 or 2010 draft picks.
