Don't recall where i read it (will find link eventually) but a reliable source recently released information regarding tom bradys endorsement money.

According to the source, brady earns about 20 $ mill in endorsements. I find that hard to believe since Brady is very careful with what he endorses?

Yeah, but in return for that selectivity, he can earn more per gig—enough that Under Armour gave him a stake in the company to sign him.

Re: bradys endorsements

Did they say $20 million per year?

Re: bradys endorsements

No matter what it is, who can blame him for getting as much as he can without flooding the market ala Manning?

Re: bradys endorsements

hmm, maybe i misinterpreted it for 20 million a year TOTAL salary.

Anyhow, 9 million is still pedestrian for BRady. I bet his stake in under armour is going to make him very wealthy.

Re: bradys endorsements

I was talking to a local autograph dealer and Brady makes a killing in signing autographs. He only goes to one official signing a year (some players go to dozens of conventions) and he charges a fortune to get his autograph ($500-$600). The guy said Brady made something ridiculous like a a half a million dollars last year at that one event. The only other time he signs anything is in training camp when the Krafts forces him to do it at least a couple of practices. That is why when you look for stuff signed by him from reputatable places, they are usually over $1,000.

I guess I would say it a kinda of an a hole move, but the dealer said these shows are really for dealers who sell the stuff not for regular fans.

Re: bradys endorsements

Everyone hates on manning for whoring himself out, but i think if your a top notch athlete, you should try to get as much endorsements as possible. You never know when you career will end...

I wonder if toms investing in stuff that gisele does ( i think she owns hotels).

Or maybe, he plans on getting some of her stakes in her investments

Re: bradys endorsements

He endorses Uggh's.. however you spell it.

Re: bradys endorsements

Brady should have held off on signing that team friendly contract extension just to teach the resident trolls here a hard lesson (albeit at the expense of the real fans and the organization).

I love how people call someone who's posting in Pats forums goes all the way to KFFL and arguing with a certain Jets fan "BobJensen"...only long time Pats fans/posters will know what I'm talking about. This goes back to Pete Carroll/Parcells/Kraft, etc. No, I'm not a troll. I simply think, and evidence backs me up, that Brady has not played well at all in his last THREE playoff games, all Patriots losses...that's pretty much concrete fact...
Also, I've had seasons tickets since 1993 and have been watching this team since probably 82 or 83 as a little kid...

Re: bradys endorsements

Wow! USENET's Bob Jensen is STILL a Jets fan? Still working in the Jersey tollbooths? Long timers will know who Jensen's BBWK Bowling Ball With Knives reference specifies.

Jensen and I (and everyone else on KFFL and usenet) used to go back and forth vehemently - the guy was a complete dbag! That had to be 97, so we're talking 14 years ago...wow...

Nobody called you a troll. Did somebody call you a troll? Why do you think someone called you a troll?

This could be and was taken/understood as calling me a troll - I've been called a troll for less harsh words about Brady!!!!

I can't speak for others, but when nearly all a person can talk about is how bad Brady's performance against the Jets in the playoff game was and it's all his fault the team lost - regardless of what the topic in that thread was about (usually something completely different) - then yes, my guess is that many people are going to start thinking that you might be a troll.

Regardless of your resume, reality is that you've been pretty much saying the same thing for three weeks. We all hear you; no need to keep on repeating yourself.

Brady's poor playoff performances are not discussed enough, IMO. I know many people here consider it heresy to talk about Brady in a negative light, but the truth was on the field for all to see.
I'm in the camp of taking pressure of him, and getting back to a modified "dink and dunk"-type offense, circa 01-04. But in order to do that, the Patriots need a running back a la Corey Dillon who can pound out 25 carries a game.
Yes, I know, off topic....
