There is no easy explanation. Edelman is a dumbass and probably just created a one-way ticket out of town. He created a distraction for his team, and I guess the "image" the Patriots and Pats fans love to claim for themselves on some stupid pedestal isn't quite as rosy up top. And this is the reason why it will get so much attention.

But, he is still just a kid, who made a mistake. He deserves at least to learn from it, it isn't like 80% of the people who post on this board haven't thought about, or have done something similar.

now for Zabasearch, folks....there's a John P. listed in Roslindale...47 years old...NO ONE listed by that name in Boston...SO...this John P. MUST be from another state...lets try a few...starting with NEW JERSEY....now think...Edelman is NOT grabbing a 47 year old's girlfriend...he's in his mid twenties...we can reasonably assume she is too along with John P., her "boyfriend...back to the search using between the ages of 21 and 30 as parameters...the phone # is listed.I'm going to call it up and ask Mr. Doris if this is his son...

heh...well...look at this...there's a whole host of John P. Doris's from Bayonne to Washington Township and in between. Let's try NY and Conn for sh!ts and giggles...hmmm..plenty of John's but no middle initial and no specific age group for NY...in Conn there's a John P. who is listed as born in 1943...this would be a stretch to think this guy is John Jr......no, so far I'm really intrigued by the NJ hits for ol' John P....let's do the search nationwide just to be a little thorough....

11:00 PM...I left a message on Mr. Doris's answering machine earlier tonight...he just returned my call...heh...big Patriots fan...anyway, he told me he had received a number of calls this afternoon and evening asking for information. He says this is NOT his son, or nephew and he has no idea who/where THIS John P. Doris is but he hopes whoever it is is not lying about the incident...I certainly can sympathize with THAT.

I gotta tell you all...I smell a rat...a big, green RAT. I think this kid is from one of those listings in Jersey and I think he's a Rat fan going to college at either B.U. or Northeastern, and he used his girlfriend to set up Edelman for a fall. Time will tell. No one has identified her yet, where she's from, what she does. Victims rights umbrella. This WILL leak out though, especially if this was a set-up.Edelman was not wearing a costume mask, he was there as himself...that makes him a target

You should learn to read an arrest report. Doris is the arresting officer...and in a sexual assault where the victim's name is withheld the arresting officer is listed as the complianant... The witnesses name as well as the alleged victim's has been redacted from the released arrest report, as has Edleidiots address and SSN...

And apparently this was not an allegation of grab ass... And the witness was not identified as her boyfriend, that was just an early assumption by a poster here looking for potential mitigation for Edleidiots behavior. And the club manager said the witness was escorted out first because by the time he was notified he was justifyably threatening to pummel Edleidiot and club policy is to remove anyone presumed to be threatening to cause an incident first. The victim and Edleidiot were thereafter escorted out as well. As I recall Rapisburger's victim and her friends were escorted out of that GA club after reporting that incident too, while Ben partied on in the VIP area. SOP for clubs to attempt to protect their athletes and celebrities in attendance as a draw...

You should try calling that John Doris listed in Roslindale. With any luck he'll in fact be the exception to the rule cop with a listed phone number and he will visit your house shortly thereafter...

Passed the rest of the night having a chuckle at his expense.
