So, Hodge has picked us to win 6 and lose 2. I'd say that's pretty good since, well, we're 6-2. He thought Baltimore would win, but also picked us to beat the Broncos.
He's an ass. But the notion that his picks are the result of some grudge, rather than what he actually thinks will happen, is a bit much.

In the past, he would frequently pick against the Pats. I admit I haven't looked at his picks this year.
And he has proven in the past (with the Eagles) he does let his personal biases influence his picks. In the 2004 season, he picked against them about 8 weeks in a row all the way to the Super Bowl. He would go on ESPN and taunt the Eagles fans that he was going to pick against them.
Hoge is one guy who I would accuse this of, there aren't many/any others. Well, there is Ron Borges.

Man - I sure hope Merriweather is going to give it a go... lotsa difference if he's not there.
I was surprised how many picked NE... to be honest, I thought it'd be an Indy love-fest.
I don't know what to think about this game. Kinda wish it was in Mass instead of Indy. Is the Colt's D really THAT great ? I know NE hasn't been seeing the endzone as often as I'd like, but without key players on D, one would think Welker and Moss would have room.
Long story short - a win here would definately send a message to the league.

People like to call Ditka a hater, but I don't think he is. While we were on our run in 2007, he said that he "really liked the Pats" and that the Pats offense "would carve up the '85 Bears defense". He may not like Spygate, but he's certainly not a hater of the talent that this team possesses.
