He is always there to make plays when we need him to the most.

I never look at a play and think, "d%#*!@t Harmon, you blew that coverage." This guy is flat out sound in everything he does. He's kinda like our modern, even better version of James Sanders, who was another guy I always liked.

What I really hold special about him is that he was originally considered another BB Safety reach when he was drafted in 2013. For how much Tavon Wilson and Jordan (yeesh) Richards have struggled here, you know Bill really made a great move finding this guy.

Love having this guy here. Don't let him go anywhere anytime soon!

Duron Harmon is, what Mitch & Murray call, “the Closer”

He may of had the interception but he didn' make the play.

There's something to be said about a DB with good hands. Brady could have had a game ending pick if the Steelers DB held on to their deflected ball. Harmon almost always does when it comes his way.

Also he's just Mr. Clutch. I read yesterday he has 14 career interceptions, and 10 of them have come in the 4th quarter.

He's rock solid and how many game clinching INT's has this guy made, including the playoffs? I was actually a bit shocked he chose to stay considering many believe that he could be getting top reps for many NFL teams at a higher earning potential, though he gets top reps based on how NE normally plays with three S's on the field.

I really like the young kid. He plays well and that shows because he had the whole D listening to him in the Dolphins game. Scrubs don't command a team huddle. We are lucky to have someone like him. Every championship team needs those guys who can make a key play when it matters most. He won't have the flashiest numbers. He won't have the flashiest name outside of his city. He doesn't make the most $$ at his position. Harmon's that guy. The Patriots have three good to great S's. They all do a lot for this defense.

Does anyone have an official count on how many game ending picks he's had? I'm guessing 7 or 8, maybe even 10.

There is no play without Harmon catching the ball.

Similarly there is also no play without Rowe's breakup.

Finally without Richards being in perfect position and taking the quick pass away there is also no play to make for Rowe.

That's why it is a team sport, whoever says it was all Rowe has not watched the play.

I saw a stat that he has 13 career INTs and 10 of them were in the fourth quarter.

Remember how much people hated him when he was first drafted?

I don't think anybody knew who he was.

For what it's worth, Tavon Wilson was decent in the money position when covering the tight ends. Though we really needed a serviceable and reliable free safety and Harmon fits that bill. Glad we have him and that he re-signed with us!

Harmon moving up and getting that tackle short of the sticks on 3rd down was a big play too.

Harmon is really important depth for us too. He's the only real backup FS we have on the 53 man roster. I'd hate to see McCourty or Harmon go on IR in the future. We'd have no depth.
