I think we all know his strengths and weaknesses now. Great arm, great potential. Can he overcome the late game meltdowns? We will see. Some QBs are clutch, some are not. If he can improve there, we really have something. If not, we have Mac with a stronger arm. I don't even want to think about that.

With all due respect, any free agent influenced by what happened today is too dumb to be desired addition to any team.

These are humans we are talking about. If it was a more positive experience, say 5 td passes, no INTs, and 2nd in the accuracy passing, It certainly may make potential free agents take notice in a good way, as opposed to being the worst QB there.

It's the "Up and Coming Stars Who Didn't Have A Long Playoff Run" Bowl. Pro Bowl is a joke.

Good for him tho, hope he gets some $$ incentives. Happy he gets that experience, but he's not a "pro-bowler".

“ Pro Bowler” means literally nothing anymore. It’s just a matter of who is willing to show up for the charade. But the poster who noted that it was a good opportunity for Maye to meet players and get known personally made a good point. It could pay dividends in free agency. I think the perception of the Patriots with Vrabel and Maye is that they are going to build a winner.

I don’t think it’s about the flag football game, I think it’s more about the impression Maye makes personally with other players. No one puts any stock in the “ game.”
