Serious question, right now is there a better qb in the league? I never thought id be asking that about him THIS year. Am i seeing this through rose colored glasses? Its hard to find one who’s looked better week to week
You can argue it for sure.
-1st Passer Rating
-1st in completion %
-4th in QBR.
-3rd in Yards per Game.
-2nd to Darnold in Average Yards per attempt.
-4th in PFF

Prescott, Mahomes, Stafford, Love rank well in all but each have 1 category they are not in the top 7.

Stafford has Nacua, Adams and McVay. 14th in completion %
Prescott has Pickens and Lamb and a RB averaging 4.8 yards per carry.
Mahomes is 18th on PFF and 12th in passer rating and 64.6% completion %
Love is 12th in yards per game and 10th in completion %

Bills fans believe Maye will go the way of Stroud, Purdy, and Tua. Look good at first. Then, get figured out and become an average to good QB.

Forgive me if I take what people who think Heroball Josh is the pinnacle of QB play, with a grain of salt.

In Buffalo's wins, Allen's averaging like 175 yards passing. Stop Cook, you win, it's just that easy.

What do the 2025 New England Patriots have in common with the: 1972 Dolphins, 2007 Patriots, 2015 Patriots, 2015 Panthers, 2011 Packers, 1985 Bears, 2009 Colts, 2009 Saints, 2012 Broncos, 2022 Chiefs?

8 reached the conference championship
7 reached the Super Bowl
4 won the Super Bowl

I read that in their forum as well. They still act like this is his first year. We saw glimpses last year (his actually rookie year) of something special. He shined on a team that had nothing else going for it. This year with stability around him and an increase in talent he is thriving.

Figuring him out...not sure what that means. He is much like Brady in the pocket and can pick you apart. So you get after him but he can run and he can throw anywhere on the field running right or left and how many times do you see him throw and he is completely off the ground, no base under him whatsoever and threads a needle. Has arm strength for days on top of that. So you do what...you trick him? I think his football IQ is high (look back at the interview with the giants before the draft) and its only going to get better. Good luck throwing all your eggs in that basket. So again....figure him out????

If the Pats get too dominant I expect the Omissioner will find some offense and strip the Pats of more draft picks, and forbid Maye from throwing passes longer than 30 yards in the air.

“Illegal forward pass number 10, 31 yards in the air. 15 yards penalty and loss of down.”

Why can’t he just a 300 yder game? What does he have to do? Not complaining just curious.
I actually think it's kinda getting funny at this point. There's been three games I can think of where called back deep passes have nullified a 300 yard game.

Pats defense has been a model of consistency.

Maye hasn't needed to air it out for 4 quarters because they're usually cranking up the rushing attempts at some point in the second half.

Scott Kacsmar is still fighting the good fight lmao

I think one of the most amazing things about Drake is, he’s on his 4th offensive coordinator in 4 years. That’s just crazy, the fact that he plays like he’s been in this system forever.

This is also part of the reason I doubt McDaniels is leaving for a while. If Maye's development is as critical as Vrabel claims, I don't think he would've hired McDaniels if he wouldn't commit to staying at least another year (although, admittedly, there's no way to enforce that promise).
