Just a rain check, I will join you tonight at the Tobin if things don't go our way. The Pats have 4 day 2 picks, in a deep draft. The roster should look a lot better at midnight.

It is so funny, I spent months reading everything about anything on all DEs, OLBs, DTs, conversion projects, etc. but never once read a single article about McCourty. On the surface it seems like a strange move to grab a Ellis Hobbs look a like in round 1 but hey Logan Mankins worked out, lets see how round 2 shakes out.

Tonight is going to be awesome!

I wasn't onto McCourty until Box pointed me (us) his way. Then I got onto him big time and he was my #1 pick (of reasonable possibilities, of course) from about a week ago until they picked him. All the top CB are gone, you can't say that about other positions and he will help in a bunch of ways.

I just hope he didn't log onto pats"fans".com this morning, he will be disappointed, poor kid.

Exactly .... that's why I'm staying away from the main board ... the inmates are running the asylum. I remember how pissed people like Borges were that we passed on a stud like David Terrell for Seymour.

It's an awfully long trip for me to use the Tobin for jumping.... If I don't see an OLB/ DE-DT and a decent WR I'll use the Sky-Way bridge up in Tampa. It's only an hour north of me...............
