    That is all so far.
Have to think McCarthy is in play here.
Would also look at Saints assistants.
Maybe the return of Mike Shanahan.

Well, at least we can rule out one of the head coach openings for McDaniels.

I can't say I've follow Joseph closely but given they lost to:

    Chiefs by 4 and 7
    Rams by 3
    Texnas by 2

Beat the Seahawks, Chargers and Steelers and were 6-6 but the lost Chris Harris and Emmanuel Sanders who are their best two players outside of Von Miller and dropped a couple of tough games. Ya they had a stinker vs the Jets but so did the Pats against the Jags, Titans and Lions

Unfortunately for us, that means they are probably going to get better.

Yeah, they were en route to 9-7 before some big injuries. That may have been in spite of Joseph. Idk. Personally I'd be more inclined to fire the GM who thought it would be wise to hand Case Keenum the big bucks. Who is that idiot anyway...?

I haven't been following the whole of the league as avidly as I used to, but still, I thought he was doing a decent job given the roster he had. Am I just wrong here or what?

Reason #1 why Joseph was fired:
Broncos will have back-to-back losing seasons for first time since 1972.
The fans can't handle that and need a scapegoat.

Reason #2 why Joseph was fired:
Elway needs to blame somebody to deflect blame away from himself.

    Reason #3:
Ownership is in disarray since Pat Bowlen passed away, with squabbles between family members over control of the team. As a result nobody is there to call out Elway for his hand in the demise of Denver.
